Medicine and Mathematics
In school I used to be good in solving mathematical story problems. Today I couldn't solve a problem with the best calculator Texas Instruments produces. My little Daisy (I really mean little - 3 pounds soaking wet) has been feeling poorly for the last couple of days. She has diarrhea and has been vomiting too. I read on the internet that brown rice helps - so I cooked her brown rice, but it didn't stay down. Then I read that you can give a dog Pepto Bismol - so I bought some today. Here's where the math problem comes in.... a normal adult dosage is 2 Tbsp. So what is the dosage for a 3 pound dog? I asked some really smart people (C & P) and I went with their answer. Daisy actully seems better! She even ate some of her regular dog food tonight! Yippee! So what was the answer to the question? Go ahead - give it your best shot!

I'm so glad she is better. Between Paul and i there is a BA, BS, MD, and a PhD, and still we couldn't figure it out! Paul's patients better watch out!

Are you ever gonna blog again? I KNOW you have stuff to say, my friend. I'm tired of that same picture of Daisy, even though she is the cutest thing ever!
